The territory of Visakhapatnam then came under the Andhra rulers of Vengi, and Chalukyas and Pallavas ruled the land. The region was ruled by the Eastern Ganga king– SuryaVamsa Kshatriyas and the Gajapati kings of Odisha from the 10th century to the 16th centuries AD (when the region came under the Visakhapatnam rulers). Based on archaeological evidence, the Prabhakar and the Eastern Ganga Kings of Odisha built temples in the city in the 11th and 12th centuries. The Mughals ruled the area under the Visakhapatnam Nizam during the late 15th and early 16th centuries. European merchants from France, Holland and the East India Company used the natural port to export tobacco, paddy, coal, iron ore, ivory, muslin and other textile products.

Sundays are wonderful
for catching up with work that has been left untouched, unwinding and
binge-watching Netflix.
But above all, it’s
a great day for planning and making sure the next week will be your best
week. Ever.
Here are some of the things I (try
to) do every Sunday and how, by doing so, I avoid the Monday blues, feeling
overwhelmed or anxious about the week ahead.Sundays don’t need to be what they
are most commonly known for; a lazy day for hangovers and meaningless
binge-watching (and eating).
My first tip for you is to think of Sundays like the first day
of the week.
You can get a head
start on your work for the week by prepping on Sundays. This is by far my
favorite tip for avoiding the Monday blues.
Do what you can on Sundays and the
rest of the week won’t feel as stressful. It’s so important to set
aside time for your self. It might be a warm bubble bath , meditation,
reading, a long walk listening to your favorite podcastor going out with
your hubby or best friend for dinner.Whatever self-care is for you, do it every
Sunday (preferably a little every day). You don’t ever want to start off the
week with a messy home, desk, apartment, and safe space.Spend 30 minutes every
Sunday decluttering, vacuuming those dust bunnies and doing the dishes. You’re
bound to be happier and feel more productive if
your environment and space is clutter-free.Last but not least, make sure to do
absolutely nothing as well.Sundays are not meant to be stressful but they
are great for prepping and getting a head start on your work.Remember – it’s
still a day of rest so make sure to schedule your downtimeMy
favorite thing to do during my downtime is to eat chocolate , go for a walk or
watch my all time favorite cartoons, friends. What about you?
Sunday it always for yourself and for things and people who are important to you but due to work load and busy schedule we tend to ignore those…most importantly to our parents they also deserve our time as they invest everything in us…so guys reach out with this Sunday schedule and make it a funday on lazy and dizzzy day…
Shillong is a hill
station in the
northeastern part of India and the capital of Meghalaya, which means “The Abode of Clouds”
and is one of the smallest states in India. It is the headquarters of the East Khasi Hills district and is situated at an average altitude
of 4,908 feet (1,496 m) above sea level, with the highest point being Shillong
Peak at 6,449 feet (1,966 m). Shillong is the 330th most populous
city in India with a
population of 143,229 according to the 2011 census. It is said that the
rolling hills around the town reminded the European settlers of Scotland. Hence, they would also refer to it as the
“Scotland of the East”.
Shillong has steadily
grown in size since it was made the civil station of the Khasi and Jaintia Hills in
1864 by the British. In 1874, on the formation of Assam as the Chief Commissioner’s Province, it
was chosen as the headquarters of the new administration because of its
convenient location between the Brahmaputra and Surma valleys
and more so because the climate of Shillong was much cooler than tropical
India. Shillong remained the capital of undivided
Assam until the
creation of the new state of Meghalaya on 21 January 1972, when Shillong became
the capital of Meghalaya, and Assam moved its capital to Dispur in Guwahati.
Cherrapunji with the native name Sohra being more
commonly used, and can also be spelled Cherrapunjee or Cherrapunji)
is a subdivisional town in the East Khasi Hills district in the Indianstate of Meghalaya. It is the traditional capital of aNongkhlaw hima (Khasi
tribal chieftainship constituting a petty state), both known as Sohra or Churra.
Cherrapunji has often
been credited as being the wettest place on Earth, but for now nearby Mawsynram currently
holds that distinction. Cherrapunji still holds the all-time record for the
most rainfall in a calendar month and in a year, however: it received 9,300
millimetres (370 in; 30.5 ft) in July 1861 and 26,461 millimetres
(1,041.8 in; 86.814 ft) between 1 August 1860 and 31 July 1861.
Elephant Waterfalls is a waterfall in the Central Highlands of Vietnam. It is located about 25 km from Da
Lat on the Cam Ly
River. The falls are described as one of the most beautiful of the Central
Highlands.
A path with steps
carved out into the slippery rocks leads to the foot of the falls. Bats
roam around the area, where they inhabit a cave under the waterfalls.
One
of the most popular attractions of Shillong, Ward’s lake is a must-visit place
when in this pristine north-eastern city. Also known as Pollock’s Lake, this
artificial water body is encircled by an extensive lush garden and lies in the
middle of the city. Take a walk around this horse-shoe shaped lake on the
cobble-stone path or simply admire the colorful floral beds in the garden. It
is equally popular amidst locals, family vacationers and honeymooning couples,
as a picnic spot.
The
lake is named after the then Chief Commissioner of Assam, Sir William Ward, who
started the plan for the establishment of this lake. It was later on
constructed in the year 1894 by Colonel Hopkins. One of the associated stories
is that a Khasi prisoner develop the area around the Lake to change the
monotony is his daily routine.
Close
to the Ward’s Lake is a botanical garden that boasts of several orchids along
with a number of other floral species. In the middle of the lake is a wooden
bride from where you can enjoy a lovely views of the Lake and you can partake
in feeding the fishes too. Visitors can also enjoy boating here on the placid
waters of the Lake.
There
is a cafeteria too in the lake’s complex where you can gorge on a wide variety
of refreshments and beverages. Lying below Raj Bhavan (the Governor’s
Residence), the lake can be easily accessed via local transport.

HAWA
MAHAL
HawaMahal is a palace in Jaipur, India. It is constructed of red and
pink sandstone. The palace sits on the edge of the City Palace, Jaipur, and extends to the zenana,
or women’s chambers.
The structure was
built in 1799 by Maharaja SawaiPratap Singh. He was so inspired by the
unique structure of KhetriMahal that he built this grand and
historical palace. It was designed by Lal Chand Ustad. Its unique five-story
exterior is akin to the honeycomb of a beehive with its 953 small windows
called jharokhas decorated
with intricate latticework. The original intent of the lattice design was to
allow royal ladies to observe everyday life and festivals celebrated in the
street below without being seen, since they had to obey the strict rules of
“purdah”, which forbade them from appearing in public without face
coverings. This architectural feature also allowed cool air from the Venturi effect to
pass through, thus making the whole area more pleasant during the high
temperatures in summer. Many people see the HawaMahal from the street view and
think it is the front of the palace, but in reality it is the back of that
structure.
CITY PALACE
The City Palace was
established at the same time as the city of Jaipur, by Maharaja
Sawai Jai Singh II, who moved his court
to Jaipur from Amber, in 1727. Jaipur is the present-day capital of the
state of Rajasthan, and until 1949 the City Palace was the ceremonial and
administrative seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur. The Palace was also the
location of religious and cultural events, as well as a patron of arts,
commerce, and industry. It now houses the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum,
and continues to be the home of the Jaipur royal family. The palace complex has
several buildings, various courtyards, galleries, restaurants and offices of
the Museum Trust. The Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum Trust looks after the
Museum, royal cenotaphs (known as chhatris) and the fort of
Jaigarh.
NAHARGARH FORT
Nahargarh Fort stands on the edge of the Aravalli
Hills, overlooking the city
of Jaipur in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Along with Amer
Fort and Jaigarh
Fort, Nahargarh once
formed a strong defense ring for the city. The fort was originally named
Sudarshangarh but it became known as Nahargarh, which means ‘abode of tigers‘. The popular belief is that Nahar here
stands for Nahar Singh Bhomia, whose spirit haunted the place and obstructed
construction of the fort. Nahar’s spirit was pacified by building a temple
in his memory within the fort, which thus became known by his name.Built mainly
in 1734 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, the king of Jaipur, the fort was
constructed as a place of retreat on the summit of the ridge above the city.
Walls extended over the surrounding hills, forming fortifications that connected
this fort to Jaigarh, the fort above the old capital of Amber. Though the fort
never came under attack during the course of its history, it did see some
historical events, notably the treaties with the Maratha
forces who warred with Jaipur in the 18th century. During
the Indian Mutiny of 1857, the Europeans
of the region, including the British Resident‘s wife, were moved to Nahargarh fort by the
king of Jaipur, Sawai Ram Singh, for their protection.
AMER FORT
Amer, now a part of the Jaipur Municipal CorporatThe first structure was started by Raja
KakilDev when Amer became his capital in 1036, on the site of present-day
Jaigarh Fort. Around 1037 AD, Amer was conquered by the Kachwaha clan
of Rajputs.Much
of the present structure known as Amer Fort is
actually the palace built by Raja
Man Singh who ruled from
1590 to 1614 AD. The palace contains several spectacular buildings, such as
the Diwan-i-Khas, and the elaborately painted
Ganesh Pole built by the renowned warlord Mirza Raja Jai
Singh I (Man Singh I’s
grandson). The old and original fort of Amer, dating from earlier Rajas or the
Meena period, is what is known in the present day as Jaigarh Fort, which was
actually the main defensive structure rather than the palace itself. The two
structures are interconnected by a series of encompassing fortifications.ion, was a city of the Rajasthanstate, India.
The picturesque
situation of Amer at the mouth of a rocky mountain gorge, in which nestles a
lake, has attracted the admiration of travellers, including Victor
Jacquemont and Reginald
Heber. It is seen to
be a remarkable example for its combined Rajput-Mughal architecture. The Amer Fort,
a UNESCOWorld Heritage Site, is the top tourist attraction in the Jaipur area.
After a few lazy nights in Charanag, in Hallan Valley — a small town tucked away from the crowd of Manali, in Himachal Pradesh — it was time to relax, and lose myself in oblivion, yet once again. And Sethan sounded like a perfect name.
Located approximately at a 45-minute drive from Manali, Sethan is a place for slow travellers – particularly during winters, when snow claims its ground and any movement beyond this tiny Buddhist town, becomes impossible!
THINGS TO DO IN SETHAN
Since Sethan sits at an altitude of over 2700m above sea level
(almost 700m higher than Manali) it offers a combination of winter and summer
adventure activities. One can compare it with the likes of Solang Valley minus
the crowd.
Between December and March, Sethan receives heavy snowfall making
its grassy land ideal for skiing, snowboarding and snow-hiking. And thanks to
its offbeat location and no chair-lift, the chances of bumping into a fellow
skier are always next to none. Though you may bump into a bear, if you’re that
unlucky, but rest assured, you will enjoy the exclusivity of the
place. During the summer, the place is ideal for camping and trekking.
Where To Stay In Sethan
Since Sethan is a small town housing no more than 20 properties,
the accommodation is fairly limited. You can either choose to stay in a real
Igloo, which of course sounds a bit interesting, but it costs you a whopping
seven or eight thousand Rupees per night per p
Here’re a few pictures of the campsite footloose camps and some views, in all weather:
Think big And Think positive should always be the attitude towards the life. Optimistic behavior approach always lead to postivity in life . Living in the past and fear of future should not one think of . One should live with no fear as it is very important to live in the present The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today with no waste of time. Problems are in everybody’s life how you handle it only matters, every problem has solution. Some find it early some find it late. To achieve something big in life patience play a important role . Optimistic people find positivity in small small things which makes them happy and jealous to pessimistic one’s. Always appreciate your efforts because others will never. One should always love themselves and cultivate things from others of all age as there is no age for learning. Live most of the moment even when the moment is terrible and make other’s happy.
Do you hate dieting and want to be a fit person? As fitness is a new sexy thing one need. But achieving and maintaining fitness is a problem nowadays. Questions come to our mind “i have to be fit” , “i have to lose weight”, ” i have to eat healthy ” and many more. First thing which is important is avoidance of junk food and then secondly start with a exercise. By choosing a right exercise and right food changes your lifestyle. It keeps us motivated and focused in our life. You should not eat healthy for one day and then go back to unhealthy diet for next 10 days. One needs to do a little push and make some efforts to be a healthier one. An hour of exercise keeps a man healthy wealthy and wise but no exercise makes you lazy , ugly and fat. Everybody likes to be in shape at every age as fitness makes you more healthier and happier in life . Healthier people are away from the diseases and sickness. Self control over food has become a necessity nowadays , one can control everything but not craving. Craving of spicy, craving of desserts, craving of pungent food but what makes it balance is only exercise and exercise.
Love being a free bird and travel the world to her fullest.Nothing can stop you from pursuing your dreams if you are determined to achieve. I was always afraid of travelling alone and so many questions came to my mind as how it would be ? how will i manage it alone? what kind of people i will meet ? will i be comfortable with them? and so on… but as the time grows i overcome my fear of travelling alone. I planned my first trip to Jaisalmer starting from convincing my parents to a solo trip. It started from train to camps surrounded by strangers . Trip full of adventure it was. People are actually nice as i thought it would be difficult for me to explore it alone but eventually you realize you don’t need company what you need is self satisfaction and self company which was missing in my life. Every individual once in a life should plan a solo trip as it teaches you a lot and gives you the best experience of your life. I had a great time exploring.
Am i the only one who gets more excited when the food looks amazing? Clubbing, drinking , dancing is nice , but when you are tired what's next except the good food. Be it a cheese veg sandwich when i think of ordering something very cheesy in this season my mood uplifts so quickly. And then the cheesy sandwich looked at me and asked me "Do you mind the amount of cheesiness I am willing to offer". And then what my excitement level just got doubled. Probably the only sandwich i would looking for !! then it became my all time favorite wala sandwich with the french fries.
If there is one thing i have learned this past year is that how important is to love yourself. It’s very easy to criticize yourself, not appreciating yourself enough for everything you do but it’s very difficult to accept flaws, and getting comfortable in your own skin. Accepting yourself is a long journey and certainly not an easy one . I still get annoyed with myself sometimes and it’s totally normal. The most important thing is that you love yourself and celebrate your uniqueness every chance you get in your life. Self love is the best thing one can do in their respected life.
